You can still participate in the auction!Nearly 75% of all people diagnosed with MS are women. Women Against MS (WAMS) is a nationwide education fundraising campaign that creates an inspiring and powerful, motivational environment.
The Arizona-New Mexico market provides programs and services that directly assist and empower those with MS. For thousands of people with MS, these things mean the difference between living a full and active life and just existing.
Join us as we gather to learn more about MS and the women it impacts, as we celebrate the strength and grace of women with MS.
We are honored to welcome this year's keynote speaker, Lydia Emily. A prolific and dynamic international artist, Lydia Emily's work has been featured at gallery shows in Milan, Berlin, Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Washington DC, and San Francisco. She battled cancer in 2010, only to be diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2012. She later became a spokesperson for the MS Society sharing the story of her diagnosis and struggle with MS and her message of hope for others suffering from the disease. She shares this message in her art, creating four bright, inspiring murals in Los Angeles, CA; Houston, TX; Portland, OR; and Louisville, KY. She plans to continue painting the hopeful murals for M.S. chapters around the globe.
